The Troops are mid high shoes to provide increased ankle support and protection in tail whips. They also come with a variety of new features:

The suede leather comes with a synthetic laminate backing for increased strength and to prevent stretching.
The vulcanized rubber band extends further around the shoe for abrasion protection and to prevent bulging.
Increased the overlap of the walls and shoes to increase strength and support.

Unchanged is the legendary comfort, amazing shock absorption and great abrasion resistance of the outsole.

Delivering ultimate shock absorption is the mission of Elyts shoes. They accomplished this goal with a high rebound mid sole insert which stretches from the heel to toe. This proprietary foam insert prevents the padding material from flattening out and is directing the impact towards the center of the heel to maintain its full shock absorbing function. To make it even more effective Elyts added a high rebound insole with gel pad which concentrates its cushioning power directly under the heel.
Also the outsole was designed specifically for scooter needs and comes with a 5 mm thick sole with super high rubber content for superior grip and minimal abrasion. All outsoles are lab tested and must meet DIN 65, the ultimate standard in skate shoe technology.

The upper materials are made of genuine leather for comfort and long life times. Ventilation holes in the front and mesh material in the tongue provide air circulation to cool your feet. The outsole is glued and sewn for an extra strong bond.
